Media Mondays: Daytime Emmys 2011 Roundup

So, who watched the Emmys last night? What did you think of host, Glee’s Jane Lynch? I think it’s hard to be a host of an awards show like the Daytime Emmys. There is so much pressure on the host, the writers, and the producers. Most of the time, from experience at least, I fast forward through the shows. Imagine if you were sitting there, in person!

One trend that I noticed on the red carpet was the color red. Some dresses were fabulous, other understated, and a few that missed the mark. I thought Nina Dobrev had a stunning look as well as Emily Blunt’s understated beauty. Even the guys looked dapper last night, yes? Who was your favorite look of the night?

Congratulations to all that won, and a round of applause to those who were nominated. So much talent all around.

There’s a lot to cover so let’s start, shall we?

  1. I only watched a little of the Emmy’s, but I was so happy that Kyle Chandler won! Thanks for the fashion round-up. Nina Dobrev did look gorgeous.
